I first discovered this campsite half a lifetime ago, as a resting spot on my month-long interail journey. Now, as a more mature and less-frezied travaller, it's become an annual event, via next-to-nothing Ryanair flights.

On every visit I've found this site to be well run and clean. The showers are always hot and the ample sanitary blocks are well looked after by very meticulous staff.

Security is treated seriously at Camping Sitges. When you've checked in with the the gent in the office, he'll jump on his bike and make one one his regular tours.

Look out for Les, originally from Southend and now firmly entrenched with Spanish wife and family. If you visit one year, he'll remember you the next . . . and possibly your name!

Camp here and you'll mix with like-minded people from all over Europe. A happy place to be.
