Haggerston Castle, Northumberland, has been my families choice of cheap-week away holiday, for the past 4 years, and in this time we have been 4 times. Twice in the summer, once at Easter, and the last in the October Holidays. Our first experience here was absolutly fantastic, and so we have continued to return, each year. ... This review is based on a stay with partner, two children, one child's friend and a dog at the end of August 2008. The stay was booked via Haven Holidays and paid for with Tesco Clubcard tokens (note - no longer available). Haggerston Castle is a large site in the very north-eastern corner of England; 10 miles south of ... Read the complete review

I was at Haggerston Castle a couple of years ago. I didnt take my dogs as I was told I couldnt. Our caravan had no nets so we had to keep the curtains closed for privicy. The caravan we were given was a standard plus rating, we took along our two Yorkie dogs, apparantly you can't have anything of a higher rating if you do take your doggy with you. Fair enough, maybe ... Read the complete review

Me and the lads try to get away with just our children at least a couple of times a year and have had some really cracking holidays, none more so than the two occasions we have travelled up to Haggerston Castle near Berwick on the Scottish borders. This place has proved ideal for the sort of holiday we want on these occasions. We want to ... Read the complete review
