To get an electronic card to get through the gate, you need to register at the reception in the hotel. It cost us about 30 euros for the night, undoubtedly the most expensive camping on the whole trip. The Lendava spa is a 3 star thermal resort and I found that the receptionist staff were quite snobby about even having a campsite! I generally don't have anything negative to say about Slovenia but this is the one situation where I do. We found ourselves in Lendava (near the Hungarian and Croatian borders), rather late in the evening after a day of travelling and followed the signs for camping. When you get to the camp site which is down a 2km road from the centre that was being re-surfaced, you are met with a huge hotel and spa complex, a car park and a small gate with some campervans behind it.
