The site itself is quite good -- mainly flat, plenty of toilet blocks, showers, etc. Theres a shop with all the usual amenities (bread, milk, bacon, barbeques, raincoats, colouring books for the kids), and a cafe where you can get a cup of tea and a bacon butty (essential!). We stayed at this campsite for one night, in August 2001. It is quite close to Scarborough, well known and tacky seaside resort. Suprisingly, there aren't very many campsite near Scarborough (or not that we could find), and so this one, about 3 miles from the centre, was the best that we could do. The site itself is quite good -- mainly flat, plenty of toilet blocks, showers, etc. Theres a shop with all the usual amenities (bread, milk, bacon, barbeques, raincoats, colouring books for the kids), and a cafe where you can get a cup of tea and a bacon butty (essential!).
