Wild Duck was a favourite holiday camp site for many years. Being only a few hours drive away it was the perfect getaway.

Wild Duck Holiday park is a Haven campsite located in Norfolk, in good driving distance from Great Yarmouth and Norfolk Broads.

When staying at the site I have always stayed in their Gold static carvans. These have always been upto standard and very clean and tidy. The rooms were a good size for a caravan and each had a good spacious seating area.

Being an active person the first thing I checked after arriving was the acitivities to do. After walking around I found a couple of good size fields, perfect for either a run or a kick about with the family. Then I came across a tennis courts, which have high fencing to make sure the ball stayed within the area. You could book the court at the friendly reception and even hire their tennis rackets and balls. On the tarmac court was also a basketball post. Being a big fan of this sport it was good to see.

Finally I checked out the pool. As it wasnt the warmest season the outdoor pool was shut, but the indoor pool was plenty big enough. It was a good size and always warm. There was good avaliable seating around the pool also for even a big family to sit around. The pool also links onto the bar which is a good treat for after swimming.

The club was brand new when we first arrived and it lived up to good expectations. It was a good size with a friendly bar service and even had a photographer going around taking pictures of any happy families or groups of friends. Most nights would be aimed for the kids then lead into adult humour towards the later hours. Linked to the clubs were also two small amusement arcades. These were always fun and unlike a lot of holiday campsites, the machines all worked fine without taking the money!

On entrance to the site there is a field with several different animals in. This is very family friendly and often you may see people feeding them on the way in or out.

When I've been, I have had very good deals, some from online and some from teletext. Some including £70 for monday to friday. This was very cheap! However, when booking through Haven themselves the prices can vary throughout the season. Deals in May are currently at £250 for midweek, while you can now get offers for June and July starting at £160 - £200 for a 5 night week. During peak time however it can cost from £500 for a week to 10 days.

Overall it is a very family welcome camp site and perfect for a cheap and cheerful getaway in the UK!

Summary: A beautiful holiday park which comes highly reccommended!

Where is it and what are the prices? That would be good to know, if you would like to add to your review, I'll be happy to re-rate it. :)

I find your English grammar usage less than good, otherwise not a bad review.
