This pump is used for the inflation of airbeds and such inflatables to save the user from the effort of blowing it up.

Constructed of plastic i first thought it would be a flimsy design meaning you couldn't put your back into it for fear of breaking it but as the only option i could find i went for it anyway.

I was pleasantly surprised when first using it at has strong it is. After numerous times it is still as strong as it was out of the packet.

The pump comes in 3 parts, the body which has a capacity of 1500cc and two foot platform so you can really put as much effort as you want (or can manage), the hose which has a surprisingly close fit to the body and a selection of 3 nozzles which fit the mist common valves.

Typical resting breathing in adults is around 500cc per breath so even if you pump once per breath using this pump will triple the inflation speed. It can give you a sore back using it so anyone with back problems should look at a foot or electric pump.

Its quite a bulky item so if you're tight on space on a camping trip then you may prefer a battery powered pump but this will never run out of batteries, cost anything to run and is much less likely to break down. Costing aroun £7.50 this is likely to last you many years so is good value for the effort it saves.
