My review is of the single airbed rather than the double.

For some strange reason, my son suddenly decided that he did not like his bed anymore and would rather sleep on the floor! Maybe because it was a Little Tykes novelty bed and at the grand old age of 4 he decided that he was too old to be sleeping in a fire engine!

So while we were awaiting the delivery of an older and more appropriate (car shaped!) bed, we needed somewhere for him to sleep, so I looked around and decided that an airbed would be best as it can easily be packed away and may also be useful in the future.

I bought the Campingaz Single Airbed three months ago from Amazon. I'd checked around and it seemed to be one of the better airbeds available, even though it was also one of the cheapest at just over £10.

When inflated the bed measures 73cm x 188cm, which is a decent size, although a little narrow for my liking.
The bed takes around two minutes to pump up with a hand pump and the valve can be closed easily and securely.

Campingaz airbeds incorporate an Exclusive Airtight Double Valve System which is guaranteed not to leak.

After having the airbed inflated for around three weeks I have to agree that it is a good system, there was slight air loss but this was minimal and not enough to bother getting the pump out again.

You can also inflate them to whatever suits, soft through to extra firm so they are suited to everyone.

My son loved his time sleeping on the airbed, they are extremely comfy and it ended up taking us a while to wean him off it - even the prospect of a brand new, shiny 'grown up' car bed couldn't tear him away!

The campingaz airbeds are cheap and extremely cheerful and I would highly recommend buying one as you never know when they may come in handy.
