      Surprisingly comfortable camping seating.

My Husband and I love camping but we also love our home luxuries so we were looking for something comfortable and portable to use in the large living area of our family tent. We wanted something we could curl up on under a blanket with a cuppa each evening rather than being uncomfortable in a camping chair.

The ideal item leapt out at us from Amazon.co.uk. We purchased two Intex inflatable sofa's for about £45 each. The sofas arrived individually boxed, the box was surprisingly small. As with unpacking all inflatable's we were extremely careful when opening the box.

The sofa is identical to the one on the dooyoo picture, compromising of blue and grey flocked material. When the sofa was first removed from the box it smelt strongly of plastic, the smell soon dissipated with a few hours airing.

It is very simple to inflate the sofa using an electric air pump, I would not like to try and blow it up using a hand pump as it would take ages. The sofa inflates in a few minutes. I was quite surprised by the addition of cup holders as I had missed these in the product description.

The cup holders are the right size for a can of pop, I would not recommend placing hot drinks in the holders. When the sofa is inflated the edges rise up higher than the rest of the sofa. The sofa looks slightly ridged and stands up surprisingly well, I expected it to flop backwards and be more air bed like than sofa. The base of the sofa is thicker then the back.

Sitting on the sofa is quite comfortable despite being incredibly low down. I was quite tentative about leaning back on the sofa and when I did I was surprised at how supportive it was. I felt very comfortable, it was nice to be able to curl up with my husband each evening. My Husband and I are of larger then average size and we were both very comfortable and had plenty of room to move without bouncing the other off the sofa.

The sofa retained its air very well after the initial blow up and only needed topping up a couple of times during our week away. The flock fabric was very comfortable to sit on with bare legs and wiped clean really easily after wet, sandy kids had been sitting on them.

The sofa deflated really quickly but never fitted back in the original box. I was initially put off by the high price, I am glad we brought two of the sofa's as they are incredibly comfortable and hard wearing and provide more than enough seating for my large family.

Thoroughly recommended for luxury campers, thank you for reading xx
