I was quite surprised when my Dad pointed out an advert for this 'All Singing, All Dancing' device. This is a really interesting little device – like anything ‘new’ it has courted its fair share of controversy as reading some of the reviews on this site will show. What you need to know is that it can make a significant difference to some cars and is well worth considering as a performance modification on its own. Available only for petrol engines, the way it works is by collapsing the manifold vacuum on over-run which creates a better mixture when the throttle is re-applied – thus improving throttle response.
