The Mongoose Brand has been around for many many years and is the child of Collins Performance. I run a performance parts company and have dealt with mongoose for over 3 years now, never have I had a problem with them or their products. Every system I have had from them has been to the best quality and that's with me comparing it to other brands we have in stock also, side by side the build quality of the mongoose systems are faultless.

The MR2 MK2 N/A system is one of our most popular systems, and again the quality of the unit far surpasses anything others of a similar price band.

The mongoose MR2 system comes with 2 single 3" slash cut tail pipes. The tips and the rear box both come in a mirror polished finish. Because of the layout of the MR2 the rear box is on show unlike on most other cars, so having the box polished adds a touch of lustre to an otherwise dull area of the car.

The system comes in full 304 stainless steel and carries with it a full lifetime guarantee for the original purchaser.

After dealing with these systems and mongoose in general, I can honestly say after 3+ years I have had a max of 5 systems come back with and issues (we sell over 100 systems a month).

When there have been problems the guys at mongoose are always the best team to deal with excellent product knowledge and always happy to help unlike other brands/manufacturers I have dealt with.

The mongoose system for the MR2 MK2 N/A comes as a cat-back system or a full system including a de-cat. On the N/A an increase in throttle response can be noticed after fitting.
Sound wise the system is louder than standard but won't get you any unwanted attention from the authorities.

Over all excellent system for the MR2.
