Vow2D+ ... that other people are making and trying to pass off as effective this little heater is a direct heater. That means the NGK plugs are in direct contact with the fuel all the time. The heater plugs however will stay on only as long as the fuel is less than 90oC. A thermostat turns the unit on and off as and when it is needed. This method of heating is not only more effective than indirect but just as safe. The upper chamber offers twin plug direct heating and is fitted between filter and fuel pump. The lower chamber is indirect heating and as such is fitted between tank and filter. This will pre heat the oil a little allowing easy filtering and preparing the oil for heating up to 90 degrees centigrade.
