 ... gripes, though. The main one is that it seems impossible to turn off the 'demo mode' scrolling of features accross the display. You can switch it to show the title, but it only lasts a minute, then goes back to demo. Also, on mine, the LCD display has become very intermittent. It hardly ever works. This may be due to age though as Iv'e had the thing well more than a year now. Another annoyance is that the title of the mp3 playing does not scrol, so you only get the first few letters of the track title....more

This is a great unit indeed. It has excellent features such as traffic interupt, mP3 disc compatability and a button to turn the volume right down. I do have a handful of gripes, though. Bought this unit online for £45.00 on an ex catalogue stock website. CD player, AM/FM and LW radio. Absolute breeze to install, sound quality and display features are good. The only problem I have found is that my factory fitted stereo (which my daughter decided to try and play a credit card in!!, hence the necessity to fit this one) was linked to the steering wheel, ie controls on wheel could do volume and skip tracks etc. for safety. To allow me to continue to use this facility I have had to purchase a STALK/STEERING REMOTE ADAPTOR wiring loom. The cost of one of these is just shy of the stereos price.
