Had this unit for 2 years before it stopped working. It had a tendancy to start skipping towards the end of a CD (last 2 tracks) and also whilst driving over rough roads.

Finally it gave up the ghost and completely jammed - couldn't remove the cartridge of 10 CDs and my Alfa dealer said it would be cheaper to buy another changer rather than have it repaired. So I decided I had nothing to lose (except my 10 CDs!) and took it apart myself.

I was surprised/dismayed to find the changer had become jammed on one of the CDs - the edge of the CD was totally destroyed. After much faffing about, I finally removed the other 9 CDs safely but the unit is unserviceable.

Overall, I'd say steer clear of this unit - there are better on the market. Try a Sony.
