Pioneer CDX P670
Advantages: Cheap, looks good, easy to mount and setup, good quality for price.
Disadvantages: Can only hold 6 CDs, doesn't play MP3s
My husband was desperate for a CD changer for his car, as he doesn't have the facility to play MP3s in it as yet. A friend who had had one for quite some time recommended this changer to us. and said it was very reliable even though it came with a cheap price tag and was easy to install.
The silver unit is approx. 16.8 x 24.8 x 6.6 cm and can cope with upto 6 disks at a time and is paired with a receiver, which is text compatible. It's very slim, comes with plenty of cable and my husband installed/mounted it in the boot of his Mondeo. Apparently it can be mounted in a variety of ways that suits you. I must say that when we gave it a road test it held up well. Didn't notice any of the tracks that we played skip or judger which is probably down to the excellent anti-vibration method.
When changing disks this is an easy and quick task and it'll also play your CD-R and CD-RWs with no hassle at all. Depending on what's on your CDs it will play about 6 hours of music which is pretty good. If you require more then I'd go for a bigger CD changer but this one suits are nicely.
Sadly we are having to move with the times and this changer doesn't have a facility to play MP3s, so we are now having to look for a new system that will cater for our changing needs.
