... to do was position the holes on the speaker to the holes in the door itself, align the screw and screw all four screws in til they were tight, all that was then left to do was plug the connection onto the terminals on the back (just used the old ones that were already there) and put the door panel back on. MY EXPERIENCE. In my experience, id didnt find these very good at all, the price was good to start off with, there a lovely blue colour and there easy to install, but thats where the good points finish. The construction of the actual speaker consists of a magnet, which is mounted at the rear of the speaker assembly and usually made of aluminium, and the front voice coil (this is where the sound comes out), in the case of this make of speaker, kenwood are normally blue in colour around the voice coil. I mounted these in the holes where the factory fit speakers already were, (didnt want to cut new holes etc) all i had to do was take off the door ...
