The Kenwood KFC W110S look a lot better than some car speakers out there and despite being named after a fast food chain they provide really good quality audio. They are 25cm (10 inch) wide and will provide you with a 700W input. I have had these speakers for nearly a year now and they are my first non standard car speakers. I listen to a lot of different music (except for classical so i can't tell you what that is like) and all types of music sound good but especially pop and hip hop.
It provides good surround sound but, in my car at least, you have to turn it up to such a level to heard in the front but that will deafen the people in the back. I dont know if this is these speakers or the shape of my car but it can be really annoying sometimes. The bass levels are satisfactory but if you like to blast your music loud sometimes you would do well to go for higher range speakers They do also tend to sound a little tinny sometimes. At around £100 now they are still excellent value for money and well worth the money for a good pair of speakers.
The Kenwood kfc w110s are 250mm in width with a stylish design and an impressive 700w max input.
These little speakers are really great and you really do get what you pay for. Before these, i bought some cheaper Sony speakers that just weren't up to the job, but after taking them back and buying these slightly more expensive but far better speakers i was a lot more satisfied.
I have put them into my little 1977 mini and their subtle design really blend in the subtle 70's interior. Although the car is noisy with particularly bad sound insulation (which is my next job) the speakers do manage to make themselves heard and still on full blast retain a good quality of sound. If they were put into a quieter car with some backup speaker, some base, they would really excel. So to sum up i think these are great but for real power and quality and some extra speakers or a sub woofer.
