The speaker covers didn t fit the slightly out of round apetures in the door panels (Skoda Felicia, told you it was a banger!) and it wasn t worth the bother to chop it about to make them fit, so I just popped the old ones back on. Pioneer TS W5102SPL ... this very powerful sub woofer as part of an expensive install for my new car. although i paid quite a lot for the sub and surround i was very pleased with the power and quality it produced. i used a 1600 watt single channel amplifier to power it and the results proved fantasic. there was very little distortion even when pushed to the limit on very low frequencies it seemed to handle the basslines very well and gave a very clear and crisp and punchy bassline with and for all kinds of music.it seemed to perform best on rock and dance music delivering very punchy bass and also on some r & b tracks giving very low subtle tones testing it to its limits. have had th... Pioneer TS-A6910 ... have been using these speakers recently in budget installs, and in my opinon they are the best in the market for the money. But be careful their prices range from £30 to about £50 so shop around to get the best deals. They handle around 50W RMS which is more than enough for any head unit on the market, but for use with a high powered system you would either need 2 sets of them, or different ones. They are 3-way speakers, so you can expect Warm punchy bass, balances mid-range, and clear trebble. Pioneer TS W 12 ... this sub woofer for a client before he was to purchase it. The test was conducted in a sealed enclosure (made for this particular speaker) and connected to a powerful 1000-Watt (RMS) amplifier (all my tests are conducted using this particular amplifier). Both music and basic signals were passed to the speaker by either CD or by signal generator. The speaker does not look like any other of Pioneers creations, mainly due to the yellow Aramid cone. It really is quite stunning to look at and looks very impressive in a custom install.
