The sound quality is great when using either the phone or listening to music via my ipod. Very easy to use with clear instructions Forget CD s and cabled ipods and bluetooth headsets. Kenwood KDC W6041U ... head unit is a great peace of kit. The looks of the unit i believe are second to none due to its shiny black finish and bright blue LEDS. The illuminations of the blue lights fade in time with the music you are playing and although this can not really be seen during the day (unless perhaps if you have tinted windows) when seen at night it is very eye-catching and gives a nice illumination show which has recieved many nice comments such as Wow that looks nice, must have cost you quite a bit whereas compared to many other headunits on the market it is relatively cheap. Sony MEX-BT3600U ... BT3600 fitted by Halfords to my Audi A6 (not a noisy car). Sound quality is slightly harsh (despite playing with eq.) Love the USB facility, radio great, BT streaming from phone great, cd playback good, but there is a big downside....... the blue tooth phone.... I have paired with Nokia N96, sound quality coming in is crystal clear, but (despite changing all possible settings on unit and phone - to optimum levels) people I call can hardly hear me (sound "distant" most of the time ). Mic position is "behind" front face of unit and picks up too much cabin noise and not enough voice. So yes I have hands free calling, but driving down a motorway with ...
