JVC KD G611 ... bought this just after xmas for my clio in as sale from motor world mainly because it was only £100 but also due to the remote and aux in. ever since i havent had a single problem the whole system works brilliantly, the sound quilaty stays exellent upto 22 on standard car speakers although it starts to lose clarity after this. The major points are these: * sound quility is excellent. * the interface in exellent any cd with track names are displayed in clear writing. *the unit itself is easy to fit and use via the remote or controls. I was looking through the catalogue pages for car stereos back in November. I only wanted the head unit replacing as the old one was robbed by my dad for his Rover, you little monkey daddy! There are so many thousands of different head units in those pages and most of them haven t even been written about. First review bonuses people, get in there! Sony CDX RA650 ... is a really good lookin CD player, the display looks great at night when its dark but is also really easy to see during the day. The sound quality is perfect, even with the volume up loud, although ive never had it right up because believe me it can go really really loud, but if thats what you want then this is for you. The effects are really good as well the Xplod one really adds bass to the sound and your car will be shaking. It takes a bit of getting used to to use, figuring out what all the buttons do, i mean who reads instruction manuals, but once you get the hang of it its fine....
