LG LAD-4700R ... is a good in car system at a reasonable price 59.99 but I found the controls fiddly, not good when driving along! Its very hard to flick from one track to the next as you have to press quite hard on the left hand dial. it doesnt have separate switches theyre all in one! The eject and source buttons (thats the one to switch from mp3 player to radio to cd) are tiny and really close together so its impossible to feel for them whilst driving so you re stuck with the one source throughout the journey. Volume control is fine and sound quality is good and of course you can always fumble for the remote that you probably knocked under your seat months ago....! This i have to ... Alpine CDA-9831R ... Alpine CDA - 9831R is a great looking, great performing piece of car audio which brings some seriously great audio features inside your vehicle. The faceplate is able to be angled to a number of settings allowing it to fit perfectly into dashboards which may be sat on an angle or where the head unit is mounted lower down. The colours on the main 4 buttons can be selected from 512 different variants allowing the illumination to blend in with that of any dashboard perfectly. The screen is large and very clear, which makes adjusting the settings both easy and a pleasure. Sound is provided via a built in 50watt x 4 channel amp and there are 3 different pre-outs ... JVC EXAD KD-AVX11 ... this stereo for my vw golf to replace standard Beta stereo. Great improvement with obvious extras compared with standard stereo. Advantages i found with using a dvd compatible stereo that you can compress hundreds of songs on to one dvd disk, thus saving time changin disks while driving it is just as good as having a disk changer. futhermore with the AUX in at the back of the stereo i can have the ipod connectivity coming out of glove box making dashboard much cleaner to look at at without all the wires.
