Sony CDX GT620U ... my mind Sony is the safest when you are considering sound systems and there is no doubt that these guys does pioneering jobs as far as audio systems are concerned. I have always been against having a sound system fixed in my car because it tends to make me too cozy and vulnerable to possible mishaps. But ultimately I was able to convince myself that okay some times, if not always, you do require a music player on your loco specially when on long drives. I felt that loneliness might lead to even greater mishaps, since in this complicated world you tend to become a bit reflective on things on which one does not generally reflect on. Sony CDX GT828U ... bought this CD player to match my new blue Streetka. I liked the fact that it was black blue and silver as it matched my car perfectly - I have to admit that was the deciding vote between this one and another Sony. I bought it from Amazon as they offered the best price (£100 approx) and had it fitted at my local garage for half the price Halfords charge! Sony is a good reliable brand for most electricals, and as it was my first car & car stereo I thought I would play it safe. It has good features - it plays CDs, USB drives, and also has an aux socket so I can run my phone through it. The aux lead and ISO leads are included in the box too which is helpful. Saves you... Pioneer DEH 3000MP ... this back In December last year from Amazon to upgrade my in car tape player to a CD player. I wanted to buy a cheap CD player with a RCA pre-out so that I would be able to connect an amplifier to. The head unit itself looks really good and even better in dark conditions, as the dial around the volume lights up in blue and the other button number light up in red. As it is made up Pioneer the build quality of the unit is great, none of the buttons look cheap or as they are going to break. The volume dial works great.
