Kenwood KDC W4044UA ... a good stereo but I have always wondered about something when working with such electronics. Why would a consumer need a remote control for his car stereo? Its always really close and its not like you change songs from the back seat of the car. I guess the only reason to use a remote control would be to change the songs if you are standing right next to the car. But this is an IR (infra red) remote control .. so you have to point it directly to the panel of the stereo in order for it to work. I would be really glad if someone tells me how an RC makes your life easier in a car. We had an RC in our family 4x4 .. and we have never even used it. Its touch screen .. how m... Sony MEX-BT3600U ... bought this stereo out of Halfords and had them fit it into my little Ford Fiesta. It replaced an old standard radio that came with the car originally. Back to the point. This is an outstanding stereo with lots of worthwhile features. With the intention of replacing my current stereo, I wanted to buy one that had bluetooth connectivity because I had been pulled over before for using the phone whilst at the wheel. I had learned my lesson and paid the fine. I was not going to fall dumb a second time. Pioneer DEH P77MP ... is one of the best Headunits i have ever had the pleasure of owning! It has travlled with me between 3 different cars without any problems in the 5 years that i have owned it. I have had a lot of comments about this headunit, from the younger crowd they say it looks to plain but when they hear the quality they usually take back there words. So this doesnt have pictures of cars or dancing people on the screen but why would you really want that? This headunit is classy, it is elegant, it fits great in a modern car and it doesnt look futuristic in a classic car.
