I bought this radio a few months ago after my car battery went flat and locked me out of the original radio/cassette player that came with the car. I was reluctant to get a new one,as the original was in perfect working order, but got a good deal on it and believed Blaupunkt to be a good, reliable brand. And it is.Despite having a few initial problems of refusing to accept CDs that my cousin put in it (we decided afterwards that they were probably a bit scratched anyway...unless my car just isn't a fan of dubstep),it all works fine. The sound quality is brilliant (there is of course, adjustable bass levels and the likes which my old 16 year old radio didn't have),and I can get good reception of Radio 4,which is all I really want from a radio.
It's all very easy to use- the buttons on the right hand side skip tracks and navigate the menu, the buttons on the left turn it on and off and adjust the volume. One thing that is very useful is the "on volume" part of the menu.It took me a while to find it,and I assume the default setting is high,as every time I started the car,I'd be deafened by my own Europop. But once I worked out you could adjust it,I turned it down and my neighbours no longer have the pleasure of catching the first few bars of Germany's latest Number One.
