The remote control however does provide some 'geeky', but unnecessary, entertainment for around half an hour. I fail to see the point of this feature, the radio in a car is always within reach of the driver and front-seated passenger, why do we need a remote control?

I've teamed this radio up with a new set of speakers in my car, and the results were slightly disappointing I chose the JVC model over a similarly priced kenwood, the reason being that I had a JVC radio in my previous car and I never had a problem with it. Theres no auxiliary line-in, which I should have been more careful to check on; had i known I would have left this on the shelf.
