When i first purchased this system, i did so for the sole purpose of the MP3 ability and for about 6 months used it for this and cd but little else.

And how much i missed out on! I currentley have this system linked up to: -

My subwoofers - it has a dedicated sub line out and an in built sub control so you can alter this in the comfort of your front seats.

4 x 50 w MOSFET speaker channel - this means basically that the music is filtered through a high level amp to bring you the crisp quality sound usually only found in VERY high end CD players.

1 x front pre out and 1 x rear pre out - this enables you to link this up to seperate amplifiers and therefore enabling you to add extra speakers as you wish. I currenly have linked the front and rear pre out to a 4 channel amp which in turn is linked to extra 6 x 9 speakers in the rear and component speakers in the front.

Line in/outis is invaluble if you want a complete media system in your car as it enables you to link tvs, dvd players etc to your cd player. I haved linked mine to a sony playstation 2 and can play the dvd through the existing car setup!

8 pre set equaliser settings and 2 manual equaliser settings - this basically gives you complete control as to the sound setup so you can alter it to your preference (e.g. filter out low end signals (bass) or enhance these if you are a bit of a rudey!)!

CD changer/DAB control - this feature enables you to add either a CD changer or digital radio reciever to the CD player i have opted for the cd changer and again you have complete control from the cd player itself.

Motorised screnn - the screen itself is adjustable to 3 different angles at the touch of a button letting you adjust it to get the optimum view of the display or to just show off and look really cool!

Remote control - this isn't your basic remote control, oh no, this enables you to flick between am/fm radio, cd, cd changer, line o
ut/in and auxillary input, adjust the volume, adjust the angle of the screen and much more besides!

Overall this unit which i paid £469.99 (1 year ago) is a brilliant piece of hardware and stands up to much more expensive headunits with ease. Go and buy one. Now.
