Firstly, i would like to comment on the price for this CD Player, for what you get this is quite good value for money; however i do know that you can get better head units for a fraction more that have many more functions. But for simplicity this is an excellent product, the 50w on 4 channels is more than enough to power some good component speakers and can also effectively power some nice 6x9's effectively.
