This is a great all round car audio system. The radio has 6 channels that can be preset into the systems, so that you can switch between those 6 stations at the push of a button, rather than searching for a signal, this is great when you want to change the station while driving as it doesn't distract your attention too much. These buttons are easily located at not too small you will be struggling to find them or pressing the wrong button. The quality of sound is very clear, but I think that depends more on the aerial and speakers in your car.
The volume is located on the left and easily adjusted by turning the dial that sticks out.

The Kenwood can also be used to play music off your mp3 player or ipod. I use my ipod and is great as it means you can play the music you want, rather than whats on the radio. I can be plugged in either by the usb port or with an aux lead. I first tried using the usb post, however while it would load on the Kenwood, on my ipod it would stay stuck on connected and you would be able to select it to play anything, this may be a problem with the ipod however. However when using an aux lead it works great and you can change the volume on either the ipod or kenwood, I always keep the ipod on full volume as its not a loud as the radio, so you don't need to adjust the volume when switching between the two. To play the music you jsut use the ipod like you would normally and then when you play it plays through the speakers in the car.

Also there is a CD player which works just as you'd expect it loads the CD quite quickly and has skip buttons to miss the tracks you are less fond of.

There is a button in the corner that allows you to switch between cd, usb, aux and radio, which is really useful as if you are driving and your playlist ends on the ipod or your cd has played through, you can switch back to the radio easily so you still have entertainment while driving.

Over this i a great product, with good sound and easy functionality
