The panasonic dfx 783 is one totally awesome cd player for a number of reasons.
It has three pre-outs with a dedicated subwoofer output to power the sub.I currently have two amps in my boot amping up the infinity 6x9's and a self amplified jbl basstube.
The panasonic not only looks good in any car interior but is very easy to use and install.The super high definition bass button (shdb) is great as you can choose to have the speakers making a more boomy sound or tight and punchy along with a graphic pattern depending on the type of music your listening to ie rock-pop.
The player has amazing sound output and even on 24 out of 40! its is almost too loud to listen too,although this is also due to my great choice in speakers aswell.
The panasonic dfx 783 ranges quite a lot in price but i bought mine off the internet and made a big saving £180 however, i have seen them for £155 but i knew i could rely on the company, as i had bought an amp off them before hand.
One thing i would say is that some online and catalogue companies dealing in i.c.e sell seconds which have been returned and repaired so are not new and may still be faulty,have your wits about you.
It comes with a cd changer control however i dont have one, as the player can read mp3 cd's which you can fit near on 200 songs on a cd!
To sum things up i would say this cd player can easily rival the alpine units and at the price i paid is a big saving without compromising on quality.
