The Pioneer AVX P7300DVD is an in car CD/DVD player with colour LCD display. I've only just fitted this few days ago so am still exploring. The only reason I got this apart from it being flashy, is because I got it cheap from a friend.

First of all I will review the DVD/CD Player Features. The unit is a very slim with built in DVD/CD Player. The unit is capable of playing a variety of media types such as CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, CD and video CD. The system has capability of performing in DTS/Dolby Digital/Dolby Pro Logic linear modes which gives you excellent sound.. The unit comes with a small remote control ideal for the passengers to use so the driver can concentrate on driving.

Secondly I will review the LCD Display Features. The system has a nice 7" wide TFT active matrix LCD colour screen which includes 5 selectable viewing modes. It functions on a fully motorized unit with display angle adjustment. This includes RGB input, AV bus input and auto dimmer control. This also has a very useful function called AGLR (anti-glare, low reflection) which basically means it has a coated LCD colour screen. The display has the remote control sensor built with in it. A good feature this has is a detachable face for security with theft deterrent flashing LED.

When viewing a DVD on this system is very clear and the screen is a reasonable viewing size so you can enjoy watching a movie. The sound is very good and cinema like due to the Dolby sound modes. As you enclosed in a car the sound is naturally better than if you were at home in open space.

Overall the Pioneer AVX P7300DVD is a cool system to have in you car. There is no need to fit screens in your head rest to keep passengers or kids busy and occupied. This system has it all. Simply play your DVD's and it's openly viewable for everyone to enjoy. The sound is awesome depending on the types of speakers you have in your car and/or if you have a good sub-woofer it will produce excellent sound. It's a good way to watch a movie on the go and it's not a bad music system either! So I highly recommend this for people who have kids and for those who just want to have a good system in there car.

This system retails at £899, expensive I know but I got hold of it for £400 from a friend which is the main reason I bought it.
