	Pioneer DEH P 7400 ... up to about £400 so this gave me a variety of good quality units to choose from. My two main concerns were 1.) Sound quality and 2.) playback without skipping. Of the more reputable brands I investigated only the Aiwa models received bad reviews. This made the features on the various models the deciding criteria for my choice. After narrowing it down to two contestants, I chose the Pioneer DEH7400MP over its older an slightly more feature intensive bigger brother the DEH740MP. 	Pioneer DEH P 7400 ... pioneer DEH-P7400MP is a car mp3 player.It has a built in radio player as well as the standard features of a car stereo.It has a high capacity for mp3's which is a good advantage. It is in a very colourful dtyle with lots of flashing lights and a silver background which makes it very pleasant to the eye. It is a lso heavily packed with features so you will get a lot of use out of it.Although mp3 car stereo's are a new idea this one is definatly a cut above the rest. 	Pioneer KEH P 9700 ... that would provide first class entertainment on those long motorway journeys. I’d decided that I had to have something that would control both a DAB unit and a CD player. The head unit and a DAB tuner were on offer for £900 the pair fitted and that was a good price for DAB at the time (still is actually – I’d have expected prices to fall much further by now!). The Pioneer is a lovely looking piece of equipment – finished in a metallic grey that suited the dash of the car that I had at the time.
