... which it does and thats an understatement. Its actually totally brilliant, and thats all there is to it, simply stunning sound. Why upgrade speakers when a new head unit can do all this . I have never been happier with an in car cd player as i have with the Sony's masterpiece. The Sony cdx m 1000. This cd player is just amazing, there is no other way to describe it. Where to start, well its a Sony , so the build quality and reliability of the unit is way over par. Its just awesome. It has been used every day for about 5 years and is still going strong with no issues. The player can hold upto 30 pre set radio stations, plays cd, cd-r's and mp3 discs. Unfortunately there is no mp3 connectivity, but its old and mp3 were not as popular then. The unit comes in black and the tft screen flips down to allow you to insert a cd.
