A fairly average CD but comes with some disappointment. (Sony MEX-BT3600U)

Advantages: Sound quality of the CD's are great!

Disadvantages: Bluetooth signal is bad.

Sony BT3600 fitted by Halfords to my Audi A6 (not a noisy car). Sound quality is slightly harsh (despite playing with eq.) Love the USB facility, radio great, BT streaming from phone great, cd playback good, but there is a big downside....... the blue tooth phone.... I have paired with Nokia N96, sound quality coming in is crystal clear, but (despite changing all possible settings on unit and phone - to optimum levels) people I call can hardly hear me (sound "distant" most of the time ). Mic position is "behind" front face of unit and picks up too much cabin noise and not enough voice. So yes I have hands free calling, but driving down a motorway with your face touching the radio is not a great experience. There is a mic hi/low switch that makes no practical difference, other than to pick up more or less cabin noise. Should have got a parrot ! Have tried emailing Sony, but obviously they have better things to do, as I am only an end user. If the rest of the unit was not so good I would return it, so for now you will always recognise me if you see me, I am the guy at the wheel bent down below the dash shouting at his radio cd player!
