... lock and door had to be replaced, costing £879.63. I wasnt impressed. luckily my insurance forked out, yet im now left with a bigger premium this year. All i would say is get a stereo with a removable face, such as the Sony CDX CA 900. I have review that one too, as it is the one i currently have, and i love it. Please read and rate it. i bought the Sony XR CA 800 recently under the pretence that it had a removable face. I was weary of this at the time, but as i bought it off the internet i had no way to check, but from the description of the site. i checked out a few other sites and they all agreed it had a removable faceplate. Well lo and behold when i got it home it had no detatchable facplate and i felt weary of installing a £350 sound system (not including speakers/ amp /sub) in my motor. Well i did and it was the biggest mistake of my life. It went about 3 months with no trouble. i bought a crook-lok and had an alarm installed just to cover my back.
