I bought a new car back in May - a Fiat 500 - and I love it like I do my children. Okay, maybe not quite as much, but I do love it and want to keep it looking shiny and new. One of the products I bought to ensure that I keep it looking as good as possible was a packet of Armorall Dashboard Wipes so that once a week or so I could give the interior a bit of a wipe down. I chose this brand simply because it was the first brand I came across when looking and I hadn't used any products from Armorall before. When purchasing I had the option of selecting either "matt" or "gloss" wipes, and I went for the matt wipes.

The wipes cost me £3.90 from Amazon, which seemed like an okay price and slightly cheaper than that from Halfords. I suppose actually if you break the price down it works out that this is 26p per wipe which sounds fairly expensive for what is essentially a Wet Wipe - but this does seem to be about what they cost across the board. The wipes come in a plastic pouch that has a peel back access point in the middle of the packet so that you can pull out one wipe and then reseal and keep the remaining wipes fresh. I have found that this works well as the seal is good and the remaining wipes do remain moist and fresh. Each pouch contains 15 wipes and so I've found that there is enough here to last me about 3 months or so if using weekly.

The wipes themselves look and feel like Wet Wipes. They are white moist sheets which can be used to wipe over surfaces. The aroma of the wipes is quite pleasant and smells mostly of oranges, but it's not that strong and therefore not overpowering. The wipes remove dust and any marks well as the dust clings to the wipes as I wipe them over the surface. It works well on any plastic or metal parts of the interior, and while it tells you not to use them on the steering wheel (for fear of making it slippery), I have used it on the steering wheel without any ill effects. There are no smears left after using and no sticky residue. My only negative experience of using the wipes is that it makes my fingers feel really sticky and obviously it's not always convenient to need to wash your hands when in the car!

Overall, I think this is a really good product.
