As with any car enthusiast, I enjoy keeping my car clean and tidy whatever the season. I have always used whatever car shampoo I have been able to find from cheap tesco stuff to turtlewax etc, but never bought Auto Glym because of the perception that you are paying a premium for a standard product, after all its just shampoo.

After receiving the shampoo as part of a set for Christmas, I was surprised at how good the shampoo is on the car bodywork, providing unbeatable levels of shine after washing giving the impression that the car has been polished as well.

If you are intent on polishing the car as well, the shampoo prepares the car surface well and the polish can be put on and taken off very easily when compared to other car shampoos.

The Auto Glym shampoo contains rust inhibitors to stop rust corroding the body where stone chips may have taken the surface level of paint off.

The retail price of the shampoo is around £8 for a litre, and is well worth the investment if you enjoy keeping your car clean.
