Bluecol Sub Zero De-Icer
Advantages: It is very easy to use and fast at melting the ice on my car
Disadvantages: The smell gets into my car sometimes
WHAT IS IT?
A tin of chemical liquid that you spray on your car windows to melt the ice in cold weather. It is safe to be used when the temperature is below freezing point.
HOW DO YOU USE IT?
You just spray the deicer onto your car windows and leave it for a few seconds for it to start melting the ice. The deicer comes in an aerosol tin and that makes it very easy to put the right amount on your windows for the amount of ice that has developed over the night or during the day.
WHAT I THINK
I never scrape my windows because I have long manicured nails and I do not want to spoil them so I always use deicer instead. †This Bluecol deicer is very effective on thin ice and also if the ice is lying thicker than usual on my car windscreen, I have used it when there is a light dusting of snow also and it melts that as easy as it does ice that has set in sheets. †It sprays smooth out of the tin and when I press on the spray it comes out fine and that makes it very quick to apply to my windows. †It melts the ice and snow while my car is warming up so I am ready to drive off without having to scrape the ice myself.
It does not smell very nice and this deicer has got a very chemical smell that gets into the car sometimes through the vents if I drive off too quickly after I have sprayed it. †It does not make my windows smear and also does not ice back up even if the weather is still very cold while I am getting my car ready for my journey.
I like that this deicer works quickly because I brought some from the pound shop at Christmas that took a long time to melt the ice even if there was only a small amount on the windows. †I like that I can see this one working as soon as I have sprayed it and I never have to spray it again because enough comes out the first time. †My husband used it to spray the windows on his shed when we had cold weather in February and it worked there as well and he said it stopped the windows from icing up again so quickly.
Bluecol Sub Zero Deicer costs £2.50 and I buy mine from a car spares shop near to where I live.
5 Dooyoo Stars.
Summary: This is very good deicer and it saves me from damaging my nails
