With the kit there are 3 tools to use. The car turbine head is ideal for pet hair (I'm not sure how well this works on pet hair as we don't have any pets) and dirt. It works well to get up dirt from the foot wells and does it so quickly. We recently updated our car and while I always liked having a nice clean car, I often found other things that needed doing before cleaning the inside of the car, and would put it off! This car is a different story, I just love it so much! We have had the car for around 7 or 8 weeks now and I have cleaned it once a week since we have had it. My husband hasn't cleaned it once (I don't think he dares) and so I'm always on the look out for new air fresheners (currently obsessed with the jelly bean ones!) and things to clean my car. When I was deciding to buy this a few months ago, I remember looking for reviews and seeing quite a mixed bunch of both positive and negative opinions. I bought it anyway, and overall am pleased with the purchase. One thing I think people get confused about when buying this, is it is not a full blown car cleaning kit. It is a set of attachments to use with an existing Dyson cleaner - you need a Dyson to be able to use the car cleaning kit. The attachments I have are compatible with the Dyson DC01, DC02, DC03, DC16, DC18 models. My family have a Dyson DC14.
