I will use a car wash quite regularly as it is quick and easy but occasionally when the mood takes me and I have the time I will give it a wash and polish on the drive the old fashioned way. I picked this HG car wax shampoo up from a local discount store and paid £2.95 which is a very good price as I looked when I got home and saw that it ranges from £5.49 to £7.95 which I think is a bit pricey for a car wash. You can get it from Amazon and other online stores, and also from Tesco.
It is a litre bottle and as it is very concentrated it is supposed to be enough to do fifty to sixty washes which is some claim however I have probably used it about three times and it has hardly gone down at all so this may be true. It is a white plastic bottle with a screw top and it gives you the usual list of ingredients and instruction for use.
It is said to be safe for your skin but I always use rubber gloves when I am washing the car but this is really personal choice. The liquid is quite a thick consistency but it does pour easily and it smells fresh with a bit of a chemical smell but it is quite pleasant. To use I will pour about two capfuls into a bucket half filled with warm water and then swish it round a bit with a large sponge until a lather appears which only takes a few seconds. I the apply it to my car using the sponge and rub it in but I find that I don't have to use a great deal of pressure unless I am removing some bird mess or splattered flies from the windscreen. I will finish off by throwing a few buckets of cold water over the car which is enough to remove the lather.
As this shampoo contains wax this seems to stay onto the car even after sensing and when I rub it over with a chamois leather it looks very bright and shiny and there are no smears or smudges. It also does a good job on the windows which look especially clean and smear free afterwards. I am always pleased when I have washed my car this way as it really does look clean and much newer than it really is.
You can get cheaper brands than this one but if you can get it for the price I paid it is definitely worth buying as it is a good quality car shampoo that cleans and waxes at the same time and also protects it until the next wash.
HG car wax shampoo is an ultramodern car cleaner, which excels because of its high shine and better protection. HG car wax shampoo adds wax components during washing. Not only is the enamel cleaned, but it is protected at the same time. The car is easier to shammy after washing and stays clean longer. The high concentration enables 50 to 60 washes with 1 litre of HG car wax shampoo.
