Holts Screenies Windscreen Cleaner
As a family we are not the best at cleaning our cars but we are far from the worst. We live in the countryside and as such when I drive into the city my car always looks awful. I would say on average we clean ours once a month and more when it is warmer. I just hate getting cold outside cleaning them.
My step daughter lives in a house with the parking behind and other wise it is on the road . she finds it hard to clean her car there so brings it over to our house so that we can look after granddaughter while she cleans the car. Although granddaughter loves 'helping' now so she brings a change of clothes and we give her a bath afterwards to warm her up.
Last year she arrived with a huge kit full of car cleaning stuff which she has left here so we can use it too. Inside this bag full of car treats was a can of this screen cleaner which I have to say I use more than most of the other things in there and have had to replace!
This has been used on four or five cars in the last six months so it did very well I think.
Why not just use soapy water? Well, that does work and we use paper towels to dry them but this seems to give that extra clean and also seems to stop quite as much ice build up on the cars that are parked outside overnight too which is a bonus.
Inside it really gets rid of the greasy build up that you get from all the passengers breathing and general using of the car. When I use this and dry it off with a paper towel my inside windows don't seem to mist up when the car is full as much as when I don't use it. It also seems to help the windows de mist more speedily.
The other bonus with using this stuff as well as the inside polish on the dash etc is that the cars smell lovely and almost like new afterwards for at least a week. The windows are left with no greasy streaks and it is great to be able to look out of shiny clean sparkling glass.
We have been so impressed with this that when we go on long trips driving on the motorways we have a can of this in the boot and after a build up on a wet yukky motorway I give the back and front windscreens a good clean when we top for our coffee break. I always have paper towels in the boot as they are handy for so many accidents.
I think a clean windscreen is not only nicer but also safe too as when they are dirty if the sun shines the glare through the filth makes it really hard to see properly.
So the rest of the car may not be quite so clean but the windows are clear and so I feel safer and also find it a lot less annoying to actually be able to see clearly out of the whole windscreen.
I think I paid about £3 for the new one I bought but I have no idea what the big kit of goodies cost my step daughter! This £3 could actually save your life as a clean windscreen is essential for safe driving as dirt can cause glare and poor visibility.
We also use these on the headlights when we are long trips as these can get really filthy when it is wet and miserable and dirty headlights are not as bright as they should be.
You can also use this on the number plate if needed as it is illegal for these to be so dirty that they cannot be read. If it is very wet when driving on motorways they can get muddy and dirty and so be illegal.
This is a great product for a dent price and we have one in our boot as well as the one in the kit that I have replaced!
Please ignore the criteria about use on the terrain and processing quality!

At this time of year I find that the exterior of the windscreen gets really dirty. As the car gets iced up or misty along with traffic dirt the windscreen becomes filthy. When it is sunny these streaks and marks cause the glass to be distracting and distort the view of the road. We have a Vauxhall Vivaro as my boyfriend's work van and the wipers do not clear the passenger side of the van's screen. This spray with a good wipe finishes the job and gives the van and cars a neat streak free finish.

The spray can costs £2.99 which is cheap enough to buy on a regular basis but it lasts quite a long time anyway.
The can of spray is designed to be used on the exterior of windscreens and is used to remove dirt, grease, insect deposits and other traffic grime.
The spray has a decent nozzle that squirts a fine mist over the window and then you can clean it off with a cloth. The can is 200ml and as you only need a few squirts it will last a while. This has the scent of chemical lemon.
We have been using this for a few years now and find it to be a reliable product to top up clean your windscreens or to give them a good sparkle after a good wash. I find it a reliable product because it does not leave any streaks and it leaves the window really shiny.
When we use this on the Vivaro it clears the windscreen with minimal effort. The product seems to dissolve dirt and grease and as you squirt it you will notice the dirt starting to slide down the windscreen. I have even used this on the inside of the car and cleaned the interior of the window. It leaves the windows without streaks and gives the car a pleasant smell.
This is a good product that works. It leaves the windscreen streak free and clean.
