Just finished using this on my dark red car -- end result is amazing, three of my neighbours stopped today just to comment on how good the car looked! So very shiny. Easy to apply, nothing fiddly, just apply thinly, let dry and then buff off with a microfibre cloth. Make sure your paint work is in good condition first though, of course - wash with a lambswool mitt and proper car shampoo (one tip I've picked up -- please don't EVER use a sponge and Fairy liquid!! The sponge pushes the dirt into your paintwork, causing scratches and Fairy is not brilliant for your paint either.)
I am yet to find out how long the effect lasts (contradiction on internet forums about this, some report that it wears off after a couple of weeks), but the shinyness at the moment is worth it! Will see how it goes...
This Meguiars product did the job brilliantly, and I hear the rest of the range is top-notch too. Would definitely buy something else from this brand.
Its always well worth polishing or waxing your car once a year. It cleans off all the bonded contamination and makes the paintwork shine. Also if you're trying to sell your car, it will look a lot better and sell faster.
Meguiar's are experts in producing car care products, the products are used by professional car cleaners all over the world.
This latest product is NXT or Next generation tech wax. Special chemicals provide a long lasting shine and make your paintwork super smooth to the touch.
Its a really easy to apply cream. Wash your car and dry it, and then gently cover each panel, using a clean microfibre cloth, with a thin covering of tech wax.
Leave it to dry for a few minutes and then buff off with a clean cloth to a lovely shine.
I find this wax is better than many others as it is easier to apply and remove and has no white residue or dust.
Tech Wax is an ideal finish to use after using the Meguiar's Quik clay system, see my other review.
Tech wax creates a barrier against corrosion, oxidation, uv, and dirt to protect the surface or your car.
