Triplewax Car Shampoo
Advantages: Perfect results every time, value for money.
Disadvantages: None for me.
I am not keen on cleaning the car but it is just one of those jobs that need doing at least once a month as we have a white car and every bug splat or particle of dust shows up on it instantly.
The car shampoo that I regularly buy is Triplewax Car Shampoo because it is good value for money as it always seems to have 100% extra free giving me 1litre for the price of 500ml and it always gives good results. Triplewax Car Shampoo usually cost £2.62 from Wilkinsons but is currently on offer for £2.00 (June 20112).
This is how I wash my car, I assume this is how every one else does too, if my car is exceptionally dirty I will give it a rinse off with the hose before I start washing, once that is done I put one cap full of car shampoo in a bucket and fill up with warm water, the shampoo is quite thick and is coloured white, it smells nice and disperses easily in the water and bubbles up nicely. I then use a jumbo car washing sponge, I start on the roof of the car and work my way around the car a panel at a time dipping the sponge in the bucket regularly as I go, the dirt lifts off easily, for the more stubborn marks a bit of elbow grease is required. I clean the whole car with this shampoo, windows, wheels, bumpers and paintwork. I usually keep washing till the whole car is done and the bucket is empty, I then use the hose to rinse the car. The bubbles rinse away easily, lifting the dirt with them as they go and leaving behind a shiny clean car. I usually leave the car to dry naturally although the car shampoo says to dry the car off with a chamois.
I am very happy with Triplewax Car Shampoo and it lives up to its claims that it cuts through all sorts of dirt and grime, leaving a brilliant shine. It claims to add triple wax as you wash, to be honest I can't say if it does or not all I know is that my car looks great, when it gets wet the water beads up and rolls away instead of sitting on the paintwork and for a 13 year old car the bodywork is still in excellent condition and I attribute that to using a good quality car shampoo like Triplewax.
A one litre bottle of Triplewax Car Shampoo will last me for over a year, so I think you can agree that it is excellent value for money when you consider how much it is to take your car to be hand washed each month.
I am not sure what the Dooyoo quick ratings are referring to but I gave the Triplewax Car Shampoo top marks.
Thank you for reading x
