Advantages: Can be lowered to open back of car when bikes are on., Will work with a caravan and can be left on., Comes with all straps.

Disadvantages: No lock included, Can interfere with existing stabiliser, Needs additional lighting board really.

I tow a caravan, yes I know go on have a moan ;-) Anyway I needed a rack for up to 3 bikes and the logical choice was to utilise the towbar, so I bought one online from their website.

1st impressions excellent, 2nd impressions "I'll never get these rubber bits on!!" Then I read the manual and used washing up liquid, surprise they went on dead easy.

I suppose the hard part is fitting the car mounted plate to the towbar, once that is done the rest is relatively easy.

Make sure that your stabiliser will still fit with it in position, and also ensure that the bikes are mounted as high as possible to avoid conflict with the Caravan. My cvan is a Swift 21 ft and it's fine with the bikes on.

The rack when fitted can be lowered with the bikes on to allow the boot of the car (estate) to be opened. This is great for me because I have a big thirsty dog who goes everywhere with us, except on the bikes of course.

If you are thinking of buying one of these for your new caravan towbar, fit a stabiliser to your caravan that doesn't need a plate on the towbar, like the ones which work on the ball.

Also buy a lock and lighting board at the same time, about another 30 quid. Then enjoy.
