Disklok:
... m always paranoid about where I park my car now. After having a car stolen before and 1 broken into I thought a steering lock would be a wise purchase. I did a bit of research and decided on the Disklok due to its very positive reviews and reputation. It has many advantages over other locks on the market; one being it covers the whole steering wheel making removal very difficult. It has an anti drill lock and t... Disklok ... a very good steering lock. This device is a large, yellow, highly visible deterrent. It can t easily be removed wihout a key. It s just a sign of the times that the firm spells DISK with a K, it s also a sign of the times that these items are a must, as so many alarms are ignored, and other steering wheel locks are simply removed by bending the wheel. I did mention that these come in Hi-viz yellow, which is true, although you can now buy them in titanium silver as well as black and also chrome & black if you prefer. These are approved by Thatcham (cat 3) and are marketed as THE STRONGEST & MOST EFFECTIVE FULL COVER STEERING WHEEL LOCK, IN THE WORLD. ... Read the full review: lock it or lose it. by firemanspam |

Metro Stoplock Pulsar ... purchased the stoplock pulsar a few days ago and fitted it to my car. Within 8 hours my car was stolen and i found the lock in pieces on a local school. Once the car had been found, we spotted a small screwdriver that did not belong to us. We believe that the thieves used this to destroy and remove the lock. I am absolutly disgusted in how the company has praised this item when it took only minutes for a bunch of kids to prise it off with a screw driver!! I strongly advise everyone to stay clear of this item as it is a waste of time and money!!!... Read the full review: Stoplock Pulsar by xxamezyxx |

Metro Stoplock Pulsar ... I bought my fiesta back in April 2004, it only came with standard immobiliser not an alarm so I decided it would be better if I purchased another deterrant as I had invested so much money giving it the sports look to have it taken from me for not having a deterrant on it seemed pointless. I went to Halfords to look at the car security devices that they had on sale and decided I wanted one that would go over the steering wheel as the other models required glueing the gearstick which on a brand new car was not something that I wanted to do so... I bought myself the stoplock for £34.99 and invested in the model that was slightly larger to accommodate cars with airbags.... Read the full review: Stoplock wont stop a lot by kellylouj |
