After a wave of car break ins near by over the winter I decided to use the January Sales and purchase a car steering wheel lock and picked up this Wheel Bar from a local Halfords store for £8.99. There are a vast range of items in the steering wheel lock market too choose from and a vast range of prices to be paid but in all for under a tenner and considering the protection provided here, this is not a device to be sniffed at. Bought one of these a couple of years ago when we bought a new car, because it looked a super strong deterrent, and on the whole have been very pleased with it. It is easy to operate and is a heavy piece of equipment, which I think would deter most car thieves. It locks easily but securely and its overall appearance would make a thief decide to try another car! The price was something like £18 but I had this one in a sale; I would imagine now that they cost probably about another tenner.
