Advantages: Head and shoulders above many big mass brands

Disadvantages: Not so good as the Pirelli in the wet

Yes ...its true that this Continental tyre drives rather well and apparently better than equivalents from Goodyear, Dunlop. Bridgestone, Falken and Kumho.
If you got the money, go for the ContinentalConti2.
But for those on a budget, there is another alternative that is perhaps one of best kept secret around...and that is the Pirelli 3000.
It may be slightly noisier than the Continental but performance and grip wise, it is the Pirelli that have the the last word.

Summary: Probably the safest in the dry available in the world
