There are so many tyres on the market at present. I bought four of these for my current car a little over two years ago. Tyre size 205 50 r 16 costing a little over £82 per corner. A middle range tyre at a reasonable price. The tyres are hard wearing, in the two years there has been little wear on the tread, for me that's 30,000 miles. They are slightly noisier than other top market tyres I have had in the past, but not enough to deter you. The tyres handle well, in the dry steering and cornering as good as the better quality tyres. My only concern is in the wet, with the slightest over rev pulling out of a junction, they are prone to lack of grip and hence wheel ... Read the complete review

I have bought several sizes of Falken tyres for different vehicles over the last few years with no complaints whatsoever. Of course, these might not the "absolute best" tyres you can buy from a technical view, but they are very good - and certainly great for the price you pay. Most motorists will never get close to extracting the last ounce of performance from their tyres - so looking for a good all rounder that represents good value - especially with motorinfg costs soaring, is becoming a key consideration in running costs.
