My car, a Vauxhall Astra 1.8 SXi, has been running on Hankooks, for the last four years or so. I got them fitted because a local Vauxhall dealer quoted me a decent price (the best that I'd got after many phone calls) so I've returned to the same dealer with the challenge "match your last price and I'll not even look elsewhere"; this has produced the right result.
More on the tyres, they look good on the alloy wheels; a sporty profile you might say. Driving on them has always felt safe and secure; when I needed grip it was there for me. Wear is not at all excessive, since buying the car second hand in 2004 I have covered 80,000 miles and have had 6 x Hankooks fitted in that time. currently I would judge that the tyres on my car have about a half life left which what the original tyres would have had so I know its not scientific but that would work out at about 26.000 plus out of the Hankooks.
So summing up Hankook is a good looking, good gripping and good wearing tyre!!!
