Advantages: Loads of Grip, Good Value for money

Disadvantages: well/average performance in the wet

Nice tyres for the dry they handle well provide plenty of grip in all circumstances and perform well/average in the wet as well. They are a "soft" tyre compound if there is such a thing for roads tyres and have used them on a variety of cars from Mk2 Golf GTI8v upto Saab 9-5 Aero (a seriously quick car).

The Aero being a big heavy car had michelins on before and the ESP traction control just kept cutting in all the time, with the A539 corners I'd expect the traction to cut in just didnt so I could push the car more and as I write this they havent been properly scrubbed in yet having only done about 10miles so far!

If you want a good tyre at a good price then get these, its what my local tyre fitter recommended to me a few years ago after the A509 was phased out and I get a discount on top of the already cheap price from Stortford Performance Tyres http://www.tyre-wheelgroup.com 225/45/17 for £103.40 including VAT, Balancing & Fitting. My Golf 195/55/?15? cost about £35.00 each so good prices imo and they supply a wide range of tyres from different manufacturers.
