Advantages: learning is fun

Disadvantages: none

As a mum helping my children to learn is very important to be as I believe this sets them up for a positive future. I also feel like making learning fun for my children is one of the most important things I can do and if I can teach them things with out them knowing they are learning all the better.

Many toys on the market help children to learn with a high amount of them being electronic and to be very honest they drive me up the wall.

When I saw these cards in the Early Learning Centre and the price of them really appealed to me, they cost me £3.50, which I think is a bargain.

The set of cards comprises of 52 cards with two for each letter of the alphabet. Each card is printed on one side with a lower case letter and a picture of something that begins with the letter for example a there is picture of an apple.

My little girls love playing snap with these cards and we spend many hours playing this but now my little girl is getting older we use them to spell words out and see remembers them well for example NAN is Nail Apple Nail.

There are so many games you can play with these cards and you can use them as flash cards so for £3.50 you get getting a lot for your money.

The cards are strong and as of yet we have not had one rip on use yet, even after my one year old got hold of them.

Overall, a good buy great for them rainy days

Summary: great for little learners
