There are 3 levels (beginner, advanced, expert) and all can be used together so when you progress you will still be able to use your beginner cards. I have been playing this game for many months. It is a fabulous card game and my household is completely addicted to it, also converting my daughter's friends and cousins. The aim of the game is rediculously simple, destroy your opponent before he destroys you. Each player has a deck of cards 40 each in the Starter Pack (60 or more later) that can be drawn from any of five lands types (colours) - Swamps, Plains, Forest, Island and Mountain. Each land type has its own unique creatures and spells to use. You must play 'lands' (energy) in order to be able to summon creatures and spells.
