Top Trumps have beena round for years. In my childhood, I remember them having the categories but not much else. No explanations as to the categories or what they do. These dinosaur cards have a description of each dinosaur, called a Dinofile, on the card, and then the series of categories (6 in total).

Taking a break from movie reviewing for a moment, I came across some Dinosaur Top Trumps that we got for our 4 year old son at a recent visit to the Natural History Museum. Top Trumps are essentially a pack of playing cards relevant to each topic. This pack's topic is dinosaurs. On each card, there are a series of categories, and a rating next to the category. Top Trumps. These seem to have been around for ever. I remember my brother making everyone play the game, followed by my two sons, and it now seems that Little Miss has joined the Top Trumps fan club. Being a huge fan of dinosaurs, she recently received this pack, and insisted we all play.
